Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1995 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two of the most notable covers the artist has done. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with its sounds.
